CEO wins Woman of the Year Award

Mr Mark Coure MP and Minister for Women, the Hon Tanya Davies MP today announced Nahed Soliman as the 2017 Oatley Local Woman of the Year.

Mr Coure said he was proud to select Nahed as the 2017 Oatley Local Woman of the Year.

“Nahed is an outstanding local woman whose work as the service manager of St George Meals on Wheels assists frail, aged or disabled people to remain in their own home,” Mr Coure said.

“St George Meals on Wheels has operated locally for the past 48 years in the St George and Rockdale areas and has over 150 volunteers on their roster. Nahed is a dedicated co-ordinator who always has a smile on her face.”

Ms Davies said the Local Woman of the Year awards showcase inspiring women in their local community.

“Every year I meet phenomenal women who do great work in their local communities,” Ms Davies said.

“I congratulate Nahed on her award and thank her for her wonderful service to the community in Oatley.”
